Pleisenhütte

The hut has been owned by the Freisinger family since 1979 and is situated at an altitude of 1840 metres next to the Pleisen chairlift valley station. We offer our guests about 45 seats in the rustic dining room and a cosy bar and, depending on the weather, about 80 seats outside. We serve mainly home-style cooking, and our "Pfefferwurst" sausage and "Kaspressknödel" dumplings are known and loved far beyond the borders of Austria. Many of the sausages and meat products on offer are produced locally in Axams.

The Pleisenhütte is open for guests from 9am every day of the ski season - without a day off.

In recent years, a 2km toboggan run has been opened from the hut to the Axamer Lizum car park. The toboggan run takes about 45 minutes to complete and is not floodlit in the evening. No toboggan hire at the hut! No overnight accommodation!
