Family Hike Pfriemeswand
Short hike with beautiful mountain views
Start at the top of the Birgitzköpfl lift at 2,035m - from there head east over the Zwölferspitze (2,098m) to the Pfriemeswand (2,103m) at the foot of the Saile (Nockspitze). Beside the Nockspitze you can also see the top of the Spitzmandl. Wonderful views of Innsbruck. In good weather you can see the Zugspitze to the west and the Wilder Kaiser to the east. From the Pfriemeswand return to the turning for Birgitzköpfl. Either follow the same route back or turn right and return to the starting point below the Zwölferspitze.
Total walking time: approx. 1 hour, approx. 75 metres in altitude.
If you want to stop for a bite to eat, you can walk down from the Birgitzköpfl to the Birgitzeralm (approx. 1/2 hour / 200 m downhill).
The Birgitzköpflhaus will be closed in summer 2023.
