Panorama Trail Pleisen

A 3-summit hike with unique panoramic views

The Pleisen Panorama Trail is suitable for the whole family and starts directly from the sunny Hoadl Plateau at 2,340 metres. After a scenic ascent on the new Hoadl cable car, the trail turns right and descends below the Hoadl cable car to a signpost. Turn left and follow the path up to Pleisenjöchl at 2,190m. After a slight climb, you reach the Pleisen summit cross at 2,236m, then continue along the path to the Axamer Kögele at 2,097m.

There are stunning views of the Inn Valley with Innsbruck, the low mountain range and the Nordkette. On a clear day you can also see Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze, and the Wilder Kaiser in the lowlands. Take the same route back to Hoadl or descend to the mid-station of the new Hoadl cable car.

Round trip: approx. 50 metres uphill, approx. 290 metres downhill / Distance (one way): approx. 2.1 km / Walking time: approx. 1.25 hours

Alternative descent: From Axamer Kögele descend towards the valley to the valley station of the Pleisen lift. From there a forest path leads directly to the Axamer Lizum car park.
From the Axamer Kögele you can also descend directly to Axams in about 1 ½ to 1 ¾ hours. (approx. 4.2 km)
